CIL/UNDP TOGETHER AGAINST DISCRIMINATION 
The aim of the project is public awareness rising on recognising discrimination of persons with disability and support in process of creating the active relationship towards situations of discrimination through various educations (on Law on prohitibing discrimination, Law on prohitibing discrimination of persons with disability, ways of recognising discrimination and methods of reactions on it – alternative solutions, judicial acts, appeal to Ombudsman ...).
Educations will be organised for activists of Organisations of persons with disability, local authorities, lawyers, judges, NGO representatives, journalists, in six Serbian cities (Jagodina, Leskovac, Smederevo, Sombor, Subotica i Cacak) and final conference will be in Belgrade where will be compiled all previous experiences.
It is expected that persons with disability will gain additional knowledge that will enable them to recognize discrimination. Organisations of persons with disability will be able to prosecute on basis of discrimination or go to non-judicial solutions that will result in ending discrimination or relieving the causes of discrimination without judicial appeal.
It is also expected that local authorities will deepen their cooperation with organisation of persons with disability on realisation the equal opportunities for full participation of these citizens. Lawyers and judges, as well as employed in NGOs for human rights will also gain additional knowledge on prohibiting discrimination on disability base and will start cooperation with organisations of persons with disability in this area. Journalists should work on public awareness raising on discrimination through their professional engagement.
